Contact short name in Android phone

In google contacts, you can specify a person's name for sorting - the "write as" field. And then, instead of Ktotov Ktot Ktotovich, a beautiful “Dentist” will be seen. And in the details of the contact - full data.

I synchronize Googlephone and this field is not taken into account, i.e. full names are shown. Specifying instead of "record as" the "alias" field does not solve the problem either.

Everything has already been worn out, how can I indicate a short naming for the contact in Googlephone, under which I want to see him in SMS, calls and other places?

Thanks for "Alias", didn't see such a function. It didn't work on my phone either.
