Console issue on OS X?

Good afternoon. Such a problem. It doesn’t matter in which application or something else, when the question arises about overwriting files (on the screen), then if I write the first file Y or N (it doesn’t matter) and press enter, the next question is about overwriting the file and that’s it. Any characters are ignored, I can not enter anything. The system and cmd does not hang. If you press ESC, you can exit cmd or just close it, too. But the whole rewriting process is broken. What could it be and how to fix it?
