Connecting to Spotify?

I'm trying to connect to spotify, downloaded from the manager of the client. I have an account linked to FB, I try to connect and either writes that there is a service error, or when I connect the vpn in the browser to the country in which I registered in Spotify and click on the client to log in using FB, it gives an error, something like a firewall , or something else prevents me from logging in, or sometimes it just ignores my login attempt. I went into the client settings, there is a proxy setting (I don’t know why, to be honest), I found the server I needed on the Internet, entered the port and ip, saved it, but the problem is not solved in any way. What can be wrong? I normally log in from the phone, turn on vpn and calmly log in through fb without problems and very quickly. here, none.maybe because you need to configure vpn for linux itself? if yes, how to set vpn here? I didn’t find a normal answer on the Internet, everywhere it’s either for a fee, or it doesn’t inspire confidence at all. Who faced such a problem and how did you solve it?
ubuntu version 18

@BenderIsGreat34

Spotify supports proxies,
try socks4 (a large selection of regions)
after authorization, you can turn off the proxy (until the next update)
(German proxy on the screen)
after specifying the proxy type, IP and port, press the UPDATE PROXY button

@dimonchik2013

connect vpn in browser

VPN in the browser does not happen,
put a normal VPN and route all traffic
proxy is also suitable, working
