There is a router with support for 3g-4g usb modem. I have an android smartphone.
Is it possible to connect a smartphone to the router via usb so that the router distributes the Internet from the smartphone?

Depends on your smartphone model. On the MTK platform, you can often find the distribution of the Internet via USB.

That's exactly what I did. Router ASUS N10U+smartphone Prestigio. Moreover, I just plugged it in via USB and turned on the USB modem in the phone. ASUS picked up and began to distribute over Wi-Fi. This reduced the heating of the smartphone and ensured its recharging.)
ps No need to configure the USB modem. As soon as I became, the Internet was gone. (
