Connecting a video card to a laptop via a PCI-E X16 to PCI-E X1 adapter. Is it possible to?

The main subject is connecting a video card to a laptop through a PCI-E X16 - PCI-E X1 adapter.
A couple of questions immediately arise, namely:
1. Does this riser work in two streams? I did not find it on the Internet.
2. If it is single-threaded, is it possible to throw a cable from the display to the video card? Adapters and controllers soldered from monitors are, of course, interesting, but they take up too much space. So this option is out.
3. Will there be enough power from PCI-E x1 for the card or will it be necessary to connect additional power?
Something like this..

It will work, only you won’t play games, because 1x bandwidth is not enough. Suitable for 2D mode, but why is it needed?
