"Confirmation" action Python script on Linux?

Hi all. The essence of the question is this:
I need to write a python script for linux that will install packages. Some of them require confirmation to install (something like you need to write y/yes when you write the apt upgrade command ). Is there a command that the script itself would confirm this?
