Computer won't wake up sometimes
Hello. Sometimes, about 20% of the time, the computer won't wake up from sleep (s3).
The light on the system unit lights up, the coolers turn on, but the monitor continues to be in standby mode. I can't access my computer remotely either.
Before writing a post, I conducted a test - put it into sleep mode 20 times and woke it up, always successfully. but if you leave it off for 30 minutes, it may not turn on.

Install all suggested updates for the OS and drivers. The percentage will decrease to 10%. :)
Check the capacitors on the motherboard and in the power supply, most likely some electrolytes have swollen and their capacity has fallen. It is solved by soldering them.
Sandy Bridge? This happens on my laptop too. Arch Linux. But I have about 5%.
I have something similar on my dollar laptop. Then I accidentally noticed that when waking up, only the backlight of the display does not turn on, and so the system wakes up as it should. Those. one inconvenience - sometimes you need to log in blindly, after login, the backlight turns on.
