Computer Academy "Step" Moscow is it worth going?

Good day everyone! I want to go to study at the Computer Academy "Step" software development courses (2.5 years).
Since online courses are hard for me, the choice fell on this academy because training takes place 3 times a week in specially equipped classes.
This school is not cheap ... 15 thousand rubles. per month! I don't want to waste money and time.
Tell me, are there those who studied at this academy and on this course? Is it worth going? Do they teach or stupidly read out memorized topics? Which teacher to go to? And so on.
Maybe there are other sensible courses for adults in Moscow in the format of a hospital?
Looking forward to your answers and advice!

No, absolutely not worth it.
You will be wasting your money completely.
Think for yourself, why would a "teacher" work there for a penny if he would earn much more on his knowledge?

My advice is no. He studied there in Ukraine, after 1.5 years he left. The teachers don't know anything, they can't do anything, at least in my system programming course. They use other people's manuals, in my case from Itdvn and cyberbionic. Questions are sent to Google.

Do you have nowhere to put your money? As already mentioned above, a specialist would receive much more in Moscow by participating in the development. Here also draw conclusions, what level at them.

They write like "a specialist would receive much more in Moscow by participating in the development" And where did you look at the salaries of teachers in the "step"? 15k per person, while the size of the groups and their number are not known. Teachers will not necessarily be incompetent, there are reasons to switch from coding to teaching it. Maybe the Moscow branch will indeed have good teachers, unlike other cities / countries where this academy meets.
But all this is not important because I am sure that you will waste your time and money for nothing. There is no need to build hopes that sitting at a desk is akin to downloading knowledge directly into the brain. Online courses are tight, but what kind of magic will happen here? In general, I get lost when I hear “ Maybe then you will advise where to study? Self-education, I’m afraid, I won’t master ....". How are you going to work as a programmer if it means constantly engaging in self-education?
Now there is so much free information on learning programming and you are going to receive the same information in a reduced volume three times a week for 15k rubles?
Write what you see as the advantage of studying "in the form of a stationary" .

It depends on the branch, in Krasnodar, for example, teachers have their main place of work exactly in the specialty in which they conduct classes, that is, work in the "Step" is just additional income, there are no "stationary" teachers, I think, and in Moscow , so the remark about the salary and why no one works in their specialty and no longer earns is inappropriate here,

It is possible to obtain certificates as part of the training, if this is important to you.

Certificates are certificates, but the possibility of learning knowledge and practice? Is everything the way they present...

I want to say about the pseudo-arguments voiced here, like "yes, there are no sensible teachers, the programmer will get more money if he programs."
Firstly, not all teachers work full-time, no one bothers to read a course in their free time just for fun (for a small fee). Moreover, there are enough such precedents, people even go to ordinary schools to teach in their free time, simply because they like it or want to somehow help people. Money isn't everything, after all.
I myself taught for some time, I make presentations at conferences, and within the company. Nobody pays me extra for this. Just like.
Secondly, teaching is difficult and requires certain skills that many practical programmers simply do not have. Some disciplines, like the basics of algorithmization, which are necessary for any programmer, are best read by a professional teacher. They are fundamental and from the basics there is nothing outdated or updated.
Regarding the answer to the question:
Just carefully analyze everything, read about the courses, about the teachers, discuss the program. There will be more specific questions, ask here. In the end, you can decide for yourself after the first month of training (or even after a week).
No one here has crystal spheres (I hope), and you provided very little data to talk about anything.
