Competently choose a PC configuration up to 15,000 rubles?

Hey Habr!
I asked myself to update the configuration of my old computer with the maximum preservation of existing components and with reasonable spending on new components.
I want to buy only the necessary hardware. I assembled the configuration, see how successful it is.

Case - already available, from an old computer, ATX form factor (305 * 220 mm)
Processor - Intel Core i5-3470, OEM
Cooler - DEEPCOOL Theta 9 (Al, 2000 rpm, 22.5 dB(A)) Low profile Socket LGA1150/1155/1156
or
Cooler Master CP6-9HDSA-0L-GP
Mat. Pay. - Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H
Video card - will not be discrete, I plan to use CPU power.
HDD - SATA-3 500Gb Toshiba 7200rpm [DT01ACA050/HDS721050DLE630] Cache 32MB
DVD-RW - I want to use the old IDE via an adapter www.ulmart.ru/goods/497288
how justified is this?
Memory - 4Gb PC-10600 1333MHz DDR3 DIMM Hynix orig
Power supply - already available, thermaltake tr2 series 500 W ATX_TR-500PC
Monitor - already available, LG Flatron F700B resolution 1024 * 768

It is planned for processing photos and vector images in the latest versions of graphics programs, sometimes home audio and video processing.
I don't play games and don't plan to.
It is planned to drive Win 7 and Win8 64bit on this configuration. As well as the latest Ubuntu.

Are the selected components well combined? Will the PSU handle the load? Will the processor get very hot? The very idea of combining old and new hardware is quite strange, of course. But I need to meet the limit of 15,000 and get a fast computer for my tasks.

I will be glad to any constructive advice, opinions, criticism.

Thank you very much for your time! :)

The PSU should be able to withstand
. To be honest, the 1024*768 monitor confuses me, given that it is for photo processing and vector graphics. My fullhd is sometimes not enough for me.

Support, I would start by replacing the monitor.
For the rest, the board on the z77 is not needed for your tasks, it's enough to take something on the b75 and save 50$.
Take at least 8GB of memory, for a photo this is essential.
The power supply is sufficient.
There is absolutely no point in taking a 500GB disk today, especially for photo and video.
Take from 2TB.
Next think about ssd, but it's clearly out of budget.
If the budget is very limited, you should pay attention to the option from AMD FX-8320.

BP - I would take something decent. Looking at Petrozavodsk, for example, this one: www.ulmart.ru/goods/424023
In terms of power - you would even pass the limit of 150 watts - there will already be an achievement.
DVD through an adapter - if it works, then it's fine. But won't the adapter be just a couple of hundred cheaper than a new drive?
Take more memory - it will come in handy.
Proc and cooler - it will definitely make noise, but still there are some doubts that this aluminum blank will keep the temperature of even this rather cold processor.
PS: processing photos in 1024x768? Hm. I used to think that they take 30 "monitors just for photos.

I would advise:
1. buy memory at a higher frequency, for example, KIngston HyperX 1600
2. if the drive is not important for booting and you don’t need hemorrhoids with the connection and the work of the adapter, then I advise key.ru/shop/devices/kontrollery_pci/kontroller_pci_agestar_2xsata_1xsata_1xpata/#tab_features
3 The power supply is enough.

This monitor will not allow you to solve problems of this type effectively.
I would start with him first.
I think the budget needs to be increased.

CRT monitor at home in the 21st century? Its replacement will make life easier for the eyes (image clarity, flicker), the body as a whole (EMP, heat dissipation), the electric meter, and also free up a lot of space on the table.
