Comparison of processors, which one will be better?

There is a question in replacing the motherboard with a more modern one, since the existing one already behaves inappropriately and does not see more than 3 gigabytes of memory. The question rested on the choice of processor, there was a 775 socket, I want LGA 1155. Since the financial side is limited, for the first time I choose a simpler processor, preferably an alternative to the existing one, but I don’t understand how much the new one will be better / worse.
