Color designation for colorblind people?

Is there any way for people with color blindness to designate colors with some kind of icons or special symbols?
Roughly speaking, blue = circle, green = triangle.

As a deuteranope, I can say that I have never seen anything like this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ For people with color perception deviations, there is usually just a different color scheme for the interface. Slack has a theme specifically for colorblind people.
If we are talking about IT color blind people, then I would understand #FF0000 #00FF00 and #0000FF :D
