Can a figcaption contain text that is not an image description?

Is it bad practice to use text inside the figcaption tag that is not related to the image in any way (that is, does not describe it and does not indicate, for example, the author)?

In general, yes, it is bad practice. must remain associated with the image you post to , as (according to the specification) is a title or description for all the content in which it is located, while the element itself can contain several different media objects (including images). The author can be omitted, but at least some minimal description is welcome. Otherwise, just don't use the . <figcaption><fugure><figcaption><figcaption>
