Mavericks, as it were, came out a year ago =)
icloud synchronization only works with Apple applications. It's easiest for you to backup working directories from ~.app/ and ~/Library/app/ or the whole /Users/user, then when reinstalling the settings and the cache will be pulled up.
And it's even better not to reinstall the system, I update my home imac from version 10.4 or even earlier - everything has been working fine for many years. What caused the desire to install everything again?
