What technology to choose for UI?

Hello.
I just started learning Java. I want to write a small desktop program using a local database (SQLite, for example). But the question arose, what to do with the UI?
There is JavaFX, there is Swing. But which of these technologies is worth taking the time to learn?
Thanks in advance.

comrades, the question was "what technology to choose?", and not "whether it is advisable to use Java for the UI?". I remind you that I am a beginner programmer, I do not have the ability to switch from technology to technology and from Java to another language.

in terms of demand, both technologies have their own niches. However, spring is indeed more in demand. I don't think it's worth giving preference to just one. If you are really a beginner and your application is not tricky, start with javafx, it is a little simpler, and then you can use spring

Swing seemed to come across to me in vacancies. Learn what is needed. In general, Google vacancies

Java is far from the best way to do UI.
The exception is android, where the SDK is in Java.
