Cocos or Unreal Engine 4?

When I tried to start working on Cocos, I was very disappointed in it. Firstly, we were too smart with the installation. "To install Cocos, download Python versions of some kind, enter the values \u200b\u200bin the installation process, and do everything through the console." Yeah. And to besides, it didn’t start for me. Then I read about the development of games on Visual and realized that I had to download Cocos Creator. Well... I downloaded it. ..NOT A SINGLE...NORMAL GUIDE...I'm not even sure that without Cocos 2d-x you can work with it. For searching for Cocos Creator guides, half of the sites and videos were about how to break or cook a coconut at home. And then. I climbed on your site and found out that UE4 is free. I immediately began to check the info (For when I first learned about it, it cost money). But I only need one thing from him. Creating a 2D game (not a platformer). So:
Questions (there are two of them. They are on the same topic, so, moderators, don’t ban):
1. Is it possible to make a 2d game with Unreal engine 4 with a top view and is it possible to implement this on Blueprints or without C ++ in any way? in principle, to the light bulb, since I know him)
2. If possible, will it be better than on Coconut and won’t I get in the face from UE with a large game weight and low performance? After all, Coconut was created for 2d, and Unreal for 3D. The search engine is practically I did not give anything at the expense of the minuses of 2D on UE4.
I hope you will answer and the moderators will not delete this question due to incorrectness.

Why don't you switch to Unity? A very popular engine and, importantly, it will be easier to master than UE4

Try Unity. There are several versions of Unity on the official website. In your case, Personal is fine. Read carefully about her.
Unity is well suited for creating 2D games. Just a huge bunch of video tutorials, extensive documentation, as well as many ready-made solutions.

1. You can, I even saw tutorials.
2. Performance will be fine, but the size of the game will be larger. There are a number of optimizations that allow you to reduce the size of the build, but it will be larger compared to coconut. In terms of development, theoretically there may not be any tools that are in coconut, but I can’t say for sure, I’m not familiar with coconut.

Buddy, don't be angry, but some of the turns of phrase and nuances described in your question make you doubt that you need UE4 or Unity . Try something simpler, for example, as I wrote to someone on Toester today , look towards GML + GameMaker Studio
