CMS Plone 4 - system requirements and scaling?

Interested in this CMS, what kind of server is needed for it to start and process at least one request per second (closed alpha testing)? First of all, the RAM is of interest, and without a swap (VPS on OpenVZ). They write about 200 MB - is this really enough for the server, or do you mean 200 MB free before processing the first request?
And 100 requests per second (a very optimistic workload forecast for a project) how easy would it be to scatter across multiple nodes transparently to clients?

200MB is not enough even for the normal functioning of LAMP in high-speed (not low-load, in case:)) config. Especially if it's OVZ.
