CMS for a multisite corporate website?
Greetings!
There is a corporate site on WP, it works fine until you start adding material.
The material is added using the Visual Composer, and it is so inconvenient in our case that it is easier to type in HTML + CSS.
Now the site is planned to expand, that is, sites on subdomains will be created for different cities.
Ideally, the sites should be independent in terms of content, i.e. one content for one city, another for another.
The functionality requires static pages + gallery + the ability to form the main blocks, as in Visual Composer.
Tried ImageCMS, but something hasn't made friends with it yet.
Recommend any other CMS suitable for my purposes, especially if you have experience with this CMS.
I understand that all engines fit these requirements, and WP, and Joomla, and Drupal and all the rest, I'm still looking for a simple but at the same time functional engine, you never know, there can be something better than WP and Joomla monsters .. .

MODX Evolution
And it's better to write it yourself.
Or just give birth to html files and upload textolite - and it is edited visually, and not constrained by large data
