Chromium setting setting?
Greetings.
Chromium has a setting:
Disable hyperlink auditing Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, Android
Disables sending requests to check hyperlinks. #disable-hyperlink-auditing
chrome://flags/#disable-hyperlink-auditing
Please tell me how to make it stop sending requests, in short, increase anonymity.
Now I have the “enabled” status.
That is, as I understand it, at the moment it is sending requests, right?
Please help me figure it out.

In three years, no one has given an answer? :D Although yes, the confusion with the name of the parameter, its label and the fact that it is turned on and off is still there.
Well, since this question even pops up in the search, I will answer:
By turning on - the parameter itself is turned on, that is, sending requests is turned off. It sounds crazy - "turn on the shutdown", but what to do ... apparently in Google there is a special specialist who comes up with this, confusing users.
