Choosing and configuring a switch, which one to choose?

There is a home mesh that goes through a Zyxel Giga 2, all 5 ports of which were occupied, but there was a need for additional ports, so I thought about buying a switch. The choice fell on the inexpensive D-Link DGS-1005D. But since I had not previously contacted such an act, the question arose. Zyxel automatically distributes IP to computers connected to it, the ports of which I translate to the global, having accordingly configured the router for this, but what will happen to the computers connected to the switch? Will I be able to broadcast their ports, since I will throw a wire from Zyxel into 1 port of the router, and additional computers will go to other free 4.
