Choosing an OS and setting up a working environment?

Fellow developers need your advice. What OS do you have and what tools do you use to work towards Python/Django? During the study was W7. But for further movements it does not roll.

Fedora 21 + sublime text 3 + docker
Everything works out of the box in Fedora.
There are proprietary nvidia drivers, one monitor 2560x1080 and one monitor 1680x1050.
All this is connected to a pcoip worksation card and ~100 meters (via cable) there is a pcoip zero client from which I work / watch YouTube and play games.
All this miracle is updated without breaking any driver.
It is possible to put fedora on zfs in rpool. And choose a snapshot when downloading. Very comfortably.

Yes, any Linux will do. The choice depends more on the iron on which the whole thing will spin.
