Choosing an Android smartphone < 10,000?
I was puzzled by the choice of a smartphone, at first the Nexus 4 was pleasing to the eye, but now I thought about what could be something else.
So, my questions are whether there are approximate analogues up to $ 300 with the possibility of upgrading the software? Now the P500 is pleasing to the eye, there are a lot of firmware for it, which can not be said about Chinese ones.
The second question is, what is the current trend in the development of smartphones? In other words, how long will the nexus last, for example, I only had Optimus for 1 year, and in a year it turned into just a dialer (there are not enough resources, both processor and memory). How long has Android 4.1 been released?
The question of choice arose like this - do I need such characteristics? Games / surfing 1-2 hours a day, I do not listen to music, mostly a dialer. Rare navigation.
I change due to the fact that the optimus is too small on the display + physically outdated.

There is nothing better than the Nexus 4 for the money.
Taking a Chinese is an unjustified risk
Xiaomi mi2s, they are approximately equal in all respects to the nexus. The pieces of iron in terms of performance seem to have a margin.
Why not explore the Motorola line, for example
Motorola Atrix
Motorola Razr
For example, Motrola Droid Razr Maxx (droid is the American version, they say the least marriage), the average price is not much higher than the allowable one, but it will work for a long time. :)
Or Motorola Atrix HD . The battery is smaller, for that and cheaper.
Motorola Razr Maxx HD - no problems with the battery at all, the price bites a lot.
The Nexus 4 is running Android 4.2.x. He will please you for at least 18 months.
P3100 - this smartphone has a 7" screen.
But it costs 11tr.
Update: didn't notice the requirement right away. Doesn't fit the latest ones.
