Choosing a topic for a Python hackathon?

Guys, help with advice, but :))

I work as a teacher in a computer academy, we want to stir up something like a hackathon in Python inside.
But I can't decide what topic to give for the project.

To study the basic topics:

• variables
• data types, conditional operators
• loops and functions
• modules
• lists and dictionaries
• classes and objects

To give such an interesting implementation?

Well, in general, if you need something. What will include most of these themes is that it can be a rather hackneyed theme - Blackjack.
Try to implement it without using third-party libraries. Just right for training, and for thinking through algorithms.
