- Scanner with top feeder for multi-page scanning.
- Preferably with duplex scanning and scan to mail or network drive.

- The cost of repairs or its frequency would be minimal within 5 years.

Well, yes, only tubes are now chipped with new (for Kiyoshira) microcircuits and devices with fresh firmware perceive only the original - you can print a non-original, but there will be no current consumption data.
By the way, just yesterday such a client arrived - with a run of the device of 15,000 pages, the photodrum unit died: it does not complain about anything, just gray sheets, and this is with a declared resource of 300,000 pages. The client did not even apply for a guarantee, because. he needs to print, and not to sort things out with the officials. I bought a new block.
Really cheap printing in words - practice shows: multiply by 2 the cost of the page declared by the manufacturer and share your time.
Your requirements are too high - this is enough for you: HP LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M425dn
for the saved half of the money, after 3 years, buy another one of the same kind. You should not count on any MFPs for 5 years of operation. The first to fail, finally, is the scanner, and its repair is not cost-effective.

I use Kyocera M3040dn devices. Reliable and inexpensive to maintain. Even with original consumables.
