Choosing a laptop for work?

I want to buy a laptop for work and the problem of choosing a processor has arisen. I have not chosen laptops for 7 years already and noticeably lagged behind life in terms of mobile hardware. The computer is needed mainly for web development (python, go, node, I kick vue), well, for the soul I write a little for android. I work at home with the i5 6600 and it is generally enough, I would like something of the same kind, well, or more productive, so that there is a small margin for several years. Now I’m considering the most common options in my city with the Ryzen 7 4800H, Ryzen 5 4600H, i7 9750H and i5 9300H, but without sitting with them for a day or two and kicking on the tasks I need, it’s hard to choose. Actually, how much mobile processors are inferior to desktop solutions, how much are they enough for work?

Mobile processors are significantly inferior to their desktop counterparts. But if you do not need to perform serious logical calculations, then you can use a mobile one (I would not take it for myself). Mobile processors are currently installed mainly on laptops with passive cooling (yes, they are producing such in 2020). You can see more about markings here: https://tab-tv.com/?p=14318

If you want to drive a lot of android in a virtual machine - take intel. In all other cases, ryzen. Choose a good cooling system based on reviews / reviews.
