Chat network server (like Slack for example)?

Good morning everyone.

It is interesting to know how the backend works and works for a chat network like Slack, Telegram, when many chats are used for many users.

I understand how chat works (sockets and other such things), but I have no idea how such a huge network works.

Interested in any tips on reading, architecture and so on. If there are examples with Python, this is a huge plus.

Thanks in advance.
