CDA cisco with AD Windows Server 2016 is functional?

There is Windows Server 2016, I would like to test the work of Cisco CDA. The documentation says that there is support only up to the 2012 version. Maybe all the same there are options for interaction?

Server 2016 support was introduced in Patch 6 released in January 2019.
