CCP emulator (cash desk, fiscal registrar) NOT 1C exists?

Actually, we googled several cash register emulators under 1C (the degree of performance is unknown), but I would like to find such an emulator in other languages (ideally Erlang / PHP / Node). Does such a thing exist in nature?
Context: writing software tied to work with CCP, but without the presence of such physical equipment. I don't really want to buy a cash register for an open source project.

Firstly, which of the CCPs should you emulate?
Atoll, Stroke or something rarer? Or cloud solutions?
At what level? USB port, BT device ? or a stub for manufacturer's SDK calls?
So you will have to buy a device (s) and a special fiscal drive for test purposes.
