Can you recommend a good SVG icon generator?

I recently decided to look into Angular.JS Material. There was a need to sbatsat just such a picture :.
The problem is that I need this icon in SVG format in order to use it as indicated here . I generated the image itself here , I could not find an analogue that gives SVG output. I tried the Node.js module png2svg, it crashes with this log:

Error: given color (rgb(undefined,undefined,undefined)) isn't a valid rgb or rgba color
    at rgb2hex (%PATH%\node_modules\rgb2hex\index.js:29:15)

Online services either do not generate a picture at all, or remove the shadow from the asterisk, which is highly undesirable.
