Can the phone be used as a wifi adapter?

Moved the PC to another place - the cable does not reach. Internet is needed while the current problem is being fixed.
The apartment has wi-fi. Is it possible to use the phone as a wi-fi module to search for a network or use the phone as a modem (but again, the fact is that the phone accesses the Internet via wi-fi, and it is impossible to connect the phone itself to a PC in modem mode, that is as "Data Transfer" disabled).
Phone model: ARK Benefit S453
OS: Android 6.0

Yes, you can.
Connect your phone with a cable to the computer. Further on the phone Settings -> Wireless & Networks More -> Tethering & portable hotspot -> USB tethering.
The phone turns into a network card. Further, if you have Linux, you do not need to do anything, the card will immediately be picked up in the system. If Windows - most likely, it will offer to install drivers and reboot. If you have a Mac - God bless you, you need to install a kernel module or something like that (3rd party solution).
After that, turn on Wi-Fi on your phone and the connection appears.
