Can't read the chip using the CH341A programmer?
Good afternoon,
I can’t figure out how to determine which chip I have installed in the device (dir-300 router), I
try to read the chip using a 'clothespin' since I don't have a hair dryer at hand, I use flashrom as software, I do all the actions in Ubuntu.
I try this: flashrom -p ch341a_spi -r pks.bin
As a result, the router starts up (the diodes blink), but I get an error (I don’t get a binary as a result), I tried to connect a clothespin to the slot on the programmer for 24 and 25 microcircuits (I haven’t figured out how to distinguish them yet).
in response I get an error (if I understood correctly, then he does not see the chip ...):
Using clock_gettime for delay loops (clk_id: 1, resolution: 1ns).
No EEPROM/flash device found.
Note: flashrom can never write if the flash chip isn't found automatically.
