Can't ping from client to server via PPTP?

Good afternoon everyone!
Help friends!!!)
I created a pptp server on windows server 2008, it is a vds with a white address. It distributes addresses in the pool 172.17. windows, the tunnel is successfully created and the address is assigned to it 172.17.0.2 with a mask of 255.255.255.255. The problem is that I can’t ping these addresses either from the server or from the client: I don’t ping the client from the server, and vice versa. what did I forget to configure? please help. My task is to connect remote clients to the server for subsequent access to them ( customers will be our favorite Mikrotik) Thank you!
