Can't install Win7 on 2.5" screw in AHCI wtf?

To begin with, the config:
amd athlon x4 740
processor asrock fm2a85x extreme mother 4
RAM 2 4 gb kingston hyperX sticks
2 screws: 1st wdc wd3200aajs-65vwa0
2nd wdc wd5000lpvx-22v0tt0
Actually the essence of the problem:
At the moment, AHCI mode win7 is installed on the 1st screw everything works perfectly, the 2nd screw is used as storage. But then the 1st screw began to crackle under load, I decided to put the Windows on the 2nd screw and rid myself of this cod.
During the installation process, it comes to selecting a partition and does not see the 2nd screw, I try to load the drivers from the USB flash drive - nothing has changed, as 1 screw was visible and remains. I downloaded the driver from the asrock website. I go to the BIOS, change the mode to IDE, start the installation of wines and all the screws are visible.
If I turn off the Combined sata \ ide parameter, it does not find a single screw at all. I thought maybe the 2nd hdd with a glitch. I took another Hitachi 500GB sata3 screw and the same thing - it is not visible (with an attempt to load a driver for it).
I went the other way - installed Windows in IDE mode, launched a fix to be able to boot win into ahci, go to the BIOS, change it to ahci and ... Windows does not boot ..... =\
And the question itself:
Why is it in ahci mode when installing Windiws sata3 screw not visible?
Or maybe not bang your head against it, turn on ide mode + ide \ sata combined mode, how will this affect system performance?

When installing, leave only the disk on which you are going to install Win7. Plug it into the same port where the "crunchy" disk is currently sitting. After installation, throw in the old disk, if necessary.
