Can't hide the Dock?

Bought Macbook pro 13 2017 in December. Since that moment, I have used the ability to automatically hide the dock panel several times. In January, I forgot about this function and did not use it for a month. And now I really need it, but I can’t use it because the dock panel is not hidden (through the Dock settings) tell me how to solve this problem
