Can't connect new viewcontroller in mainstoryboad with viewcontroller.swift?

In mainstoryboard I create a new viewcontroller and try to connect it to viewcontroller.swift. But does not want to connect, and the old one created initially connects. Why?

It's not clear what "I'm trying to connect" means. When you added a UIViewController to the storyboard, you need to assign it the type of your new controller, in Identity (third icon from the left in the inspector: Custom Class)
