Can playing games improve memory?

Hello
I got curious
Playing games like "Memory and Brain Training" etc.
Do they really help with this?

The question cannot be answered precisely, because scientific experiments in this area have not yet been carried out. There is a hypothesis that games can improve short-term and working memory, but evidence is not yet available.
So hypothetically, memory can be improved. And we will find out the real answer in the coming years.

It is possible if the game is a search for chains of associations (among various objects).
Even 3D-action (and this is exactly the type of game!) needs to memorize the level well (routes, shelters, respawns of weapons / health kits / runes, etc.) in order to achieve better results in the game with rivals.
