Can one core in a processor burn out?
Hello. I gave the laptop to the SC in the left company. I assume that they are hanging noodles on my ears ... I turned to replace the SSD, but then they started saying that you had one core burned out in the processor. Can this be at all? The laptop turns on, everything is fine. As I know, if the percentage is on, then the computer will not even turn on.

Replacing the ssd - opened the back cover and replaced the ssd. And the cores don't burn
Maybe. From experience - it was after an unsuccessful overclocking, the dump of one of the cores, when it was turned off from the BIOS, the work returned to normal. But it's such a rare case that it's unlikely yours.
