The symptoms are such that at some point the PC began to freeze tightly, I had to press the reset button. At the same time, the disk access lamp was on (apparently he was trying to read some block and he could not do it). I bought a new SSD, reinstalled the system on it and the symptoms disappeared. Q: Can I still use my old SSD? And how to reassign damaged blocks if required?

If it started to fail, I would not advise using it - they are collected from rejection, memory chips there can be of disgusting quality.
If you have a Windows computer handy, download the free R.tester , look at SMART in it (more attributes can be decoded), and also do a reading test - the graph will give you a better idea of ​​the state of the memory.
If there is no important data left on the disk, then you can also do a write test (it overwrites the contents).
