Can Mac Air 2017 and Mac Pro 2020 be docked?
There are two laptops Mac Pro 2020 (on board 4 usb type-c) and Mac Air 2017 (on board 2 usb type-a and 1 thunderbolt 2).
I want to make a comfortable workspace with a minimum of wires using the Dock Station. The problem is that a docking station for a 2020 beech is needed on type-c and adapters are needed to connect a 2017 laptop.
Question: Will the
Mac Air 2017 bundle ->
Thunderbolt 2 - Thunderbolt 2 (MD862ZM/A) cable ->
Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) - Thunderbolt 2 (MMEL2ZM/A) adapter ->
Docking station (any one on the market, for example SUNWIND SW-DS047-S) ->
Monitor as a second laptop screen and peripherals (keyboard, printer) connected to the docking station?
Will the laptop charge through such a connection?

MacBook Air does not take a charge over Thunderbolt 2, I have a MacBook Pro from the monitor, it does not charge through it. MagSave only.
