Licenses for software and other works

Can images be used in open source projects?

Hello, can I use images and their derivatives from search engines in my open source projects? If so, what is the best way to arrange all this to minimize certain risks? Which license is better to use and is it correct to store image data in a repository? Maybe it's better to pull from the Internet when deploying the application on the user's machine?

Can.
To do this, you need to obtain permission from each author of the work according to the conditions you require.
