Can I transfer Windows 10 from hdd to ssd without installing additional software?

Installed windows on hdd. Then I bought an SSD and decided to move Windows 10 there. Can I back up Windows 10 to ssd, boot from ssd in BIOS, and then format that disk (hdd) where 10 was?

I saw on the Internet you can download a program and she will do it herself, but can you use this method as I described? Or is there another method but without installing prog?

This cannot be done with the built-in Windows tools yet. You need third party utilities. About 20 years ago we used Partition Magic. Then there were utilities from Acronis. But they don't develop anymore.
Now the absolute favorite is AOMEI . There is a free version in which you run the Migrate OS to SSD command . The utility can be installed on the system, or you can use a bootable USB flash drive.

Use the liveCD. For example clonezilla
Or acronis
Or partition magik

You just need to copy partitions from hdd to ssd. If the ssd is from a well-known manufacturer (for example, sasmsung), they provide a utility to perform this operation directly from under the system. Otherwise any live cd should be used.

You do not need to install any programs on your computer (and even more so buy them), but it is enough to get any popular repair and recovery LiveDVD or LiveUSB - Resuscitator, MultiBoot, Sergey Strelts disks, etc., thousands of them. Having such a tool, you can use it not only to solve this problem, but also in many other cases.
When choosing, I recommend paying attention to those LiveDVD / LiveUSB that contain a set of 2k10 utilities - these are several hundred utilities, each with a brief annotation. Among them there is AOMEI Partition Assistant and Paragon's HDM, both of them can do "Migrate OS to SSD"- what you need. Transferring Windows through a backup is much worse for this (there may be problems that have been asked / answered many times here).
