Can I request a refund from MTS?

Good day to all!
Recently I bought a microsim card from MTS for the iPad. I signed a contract, inserted a SIM card, everything is fine, the network finds it, 3G Internet works. At one point, when the money in the account ran out, the question arose of replenishing it. I open the concluded contract, the number is indicated in it in the following format:
+7 (91) 673-хх-хх
I am surprised at such a code, I call MTS support, I ask how I can find out the number if the SIM card is in the iPad. My phone does not support micro sim cards. They tell me that this is a typo (which is quite logical), and the code is either 910, which is very unlikely, or 916. But they can’t tell me for sure in support, they will tell me only in the office. Since there are only 2 options, I decide to call them stupidly. Some guy picked up the phone on 910, on 916 - the type of communication is not available to the subscriber. Hooray, I decided that this is my number. With peace of mind I transfer money to him. 2 days have passed, 3G Internet still does not catch, I begin to suspect something was wrong. This time I go to the office, where it turns out that I calculated the number incorrectly. It turns out that it was not the digit in the code that was printed, but the last digit of the number. And the correct number is
+7 (916) 73х-хх-хх (number 6 from the code was outside the bracket)
It seems that I understand that my cant, I had to make sure before putting money in. But on the other hand, the recording format 673-xx-xx and the words of the technical support operator suggest that the last 7 digits are correct, and there is an error in the code. Interested in the moral and legal side of this question: can this be considered the fault of MTS, and is it possible for this reason to ask them for a refund?
Thanks in advance! I apologize for a lot of letters, I tried to write only on business.

Write a statement at the office, enclose a check. Most likely they will return it without any problems.
Good luck.

There was a similar situation, in terms of the fact that I just made a mistake with the number. Came with a passport and a check, did not write any statements, within 5 minutes they gave the entire amount in cash

You still need to write a statement, without this you will not return in any way, 100% guarantee.
In a similar situation, the beeline returned the money, but that was 3 years ago.
And time is not in your favor.

They will return it without problems, if there are problems, unsubscribe.

I also confirm that it is possible. There was a similar situation with the beeline, I didn’t even have to go to the office all by phone. Only now I had to wait about 10 days.
