Can I replace a li-ion battery with a li-po using the original controller (from li-ion)?

Hello! In general, such a question: there is a psp, as you know, the psp battery charges only if a battery with the original controller is inserted into it. 1) Is it possible to replace the original li-ion battery with li-pol when using the original controller? 2) Is it possible to parallel the original battery with a li-pol battery using only the original controller? (I know how to do all this, I'm only interested in the question of the types of batteries. Li-ion cans are quite difficult to find a flat shape, more often they are in the form of a cylinder, and li-pol is full of flat ones, for example, from mobile phones) Ps original battery 3.6v 1200 mah.

Serozha none is right, change, but remember, only you are responsible for this (a slightly different charging procedure on banks, but in 99.9% of cases you will not notice this)
