Can I fulfill orders on upwork on my own behalf, being added to the agency team on Upwork?
Hello!
There was such a question. I work for upwork through an agency. But can I respond and take orders on
my own behalf? Or, if I was added to my team, then I am, as it were, part of their agency and I can’t take my orders (working with another customer directly without an agency but through upwork)?

As far as I remember, there are 2 options:
1. Your profile is associated with the agency. Then you can continue to do what you want, plus the agency can find projects for you.
2. Your profile is managed by an agency. Then you cannot do anything yourself.
Well, a big minus - an inscription appears in the profile that you are part of the agency, and such people are less willing to hire. I even had to delete my agency to get rid of this inscription.
if there are no restrictions from the agency itself, then it is possible, it also happens that they register the accounts themselves for employees with an exclusive
It all depends on whether you are an exclusive freelancer or a non-exclusive freelancer. Not exclusive - it is possible and separately from the agency.
