Minimum threshold for freelance in Java?

Hello! Maybe someone has such information or maybe someone freelances on Upwork in Java, but I would like to know how high the entry threshold is. What knowledge do you need to have in order not to be ashamed to register, and even take an order?
I understand that the question is extremely abstract, so it's probably easier to answer it with an example in the style of "I knew x, y, z and then I started working." But in any case, I will be glad and grateful for any answer!
I understand that you can’t earn money on freelance for the first time, but your hand gets stuffed everywhere)

The minimum threshold is to understand the task and formulate correctly clarifying questions to the customer.
If you do not understand what the task is, of course you will not be able to do it. Complexity in terms of programming - there are jobs from zero to god level.
But if you have such a question, it is probably better for you to go as a junior to any office and fill your hand a little and gain confidence.

Orders for Java are all for Android, except for students or obviously not for beginners.

Well, keep in mind that Java itself is not enough to search and work in Java. It also requires knowledge of the frontend. Purely work on Java (JEE) did not see. The main part is given to outsourcing offices, since a huge bobble is spinning there and no one will entrust their mega-backend to some Indian :)

it is difficult for a beginner to freelance in Java, because there are no tasks for the initial level of knowledge.
The same sites to edit in Java - this is already a fairly "high" level of knowledge. Compared to the same task for a PHP programmer.
