Can I connect a hard drive with the letter C to a PC that already has a drive with the letter C?

I have an old hard drive that was marked with the letter C on the old PC, if I connect it to a new PC that already has a drive with the letter C, will it be displayed or will it need to change the letter or maybe it will not be marked with a letter at all? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not good with computers

Can. Windows will reassign this drive to a new letter, choosing the first available one. You can also connect the drive not as a letter, but as a directory (right button on My Computer, management, disk management)
ps information about the drive letter is not stored on the drive itself (there is only an identifier) but in the operating system, in the registry.
By the way, because of this, it will not be possible to simply copy os to the second disk D and then taking the first one out to boot from it, since the system will remember that this is disk D and connect it accordingly, and will not boot. You have to edit the registry after copying.
