Can GTX 1650 be plugged into PCI-E x1?
Good day to all! A rather strange, but extremely interesting question for me: is it possible to plug a GTX 1650 GDDR6 into PCI-E x1?
The bottom line is this: there is an old GA-A55M-DS2 motherboard from GigaByte. Her pci-e x16 fell off a bunch of years ago and I have been using exclusively integrated graphics all this time. Now I finally decided to buy a new computer and the first thing I'm going to do is take a video card (everything else will be bought a little later) and I want to insert it into pci-e x1 until there is a new system, after unsoldering one of the slot walls.
I already did this and everything worked fine, but a rather old card was used, so I have doubts that such a card will work in such a strange format (the card still has a 6pin power house).
I hope someone has already had a similar experience and I will get an answer to my question!)
Update: I bought this wonderful card and, for the sake of testing, put it in a "non-working" PCI-E x16 slot. And a miracle happened: the card started up on it without any problems and dancing with a tambourine.
Before that, I tried gt9800 in the same slot (it was a long time ago, yes) and gtx 750ti. Both of these cards were spinning, buzzing and giving direct signs of life, but did not want to give out an image in any way, no matter what I did with them. Since then, nothing has changed, but the card started up. In any case, many thanks to everyone for the answers, now I know a little more about hardware)

You can, but the graphics may not have enough speed. Mining or other computing on the GPU - maybe x1 is enough there.
Basically you can survive.
