Can Azure AD be used as a secure LDAP server?

Hi everyone,

Azure AD has user data, emails/logins. After logging in a user in outlook, for example ... you need to be able to log in to the nexus server using ldap, but it's not entirely clear whether this can be done without using AD Domain Services?

this is what LDAP settings look like in nexus,


I never did such authentication, so I don’t quite understand what is needed there at all.
