Can anyone explain how to work with MIDI in Android?

Ultimately, you should get one big button on the whole screen; when this button is pressed, the sound of the first octave A (69) is played, the instrument is piano (1). The sound should not stop while this button is pressed.
Please point to the correct answer. I read it, but still stuck.

As far as I know (I have not tried it myself, but I often met mentions of use), without getting under the hood of MIDI and other things, you can do a lot of things with the PureData port on android.
