Can an analog multiplexer be used in a measurement circuit?

There is an installation with 8 sensors, a 1-10 MHz signal generator and an oscilloscope. Sensors measure the change in the signal passing through the material for several seconds, the received signal is measured by one channel of the oscilloscope. Therefore, now you need to poke the sensors after each measurement.

I would like to automate this part of the circuit in order to simplify further research. So the question is: can analog multiplexers be used to switch sensors? And what multiplexers are suitable?

There is still an alternative option in the work on reed relays, but it turns out to be very overall and inconvenient.

Take the parameters of your signal, take a stack of datasheets for multiplexers, compare and choose the appropriate one
