unless there's some liquid in those scratches or something. Sometimes you press in one place, but it works somewhere nearby.
This is purely from my own experience.
If we are talking about a series of spontaneous clicks, then, in my case (nexus 4), as a result of lengthy research, the battery turned out to be the culprit. Moreover, this disgrace began when a certain level of charge was reached (approx. 40%). After replacing the problem went away.
The culprits may be:
1. A charger that skips the "phase" to the output (when glitches go when the charger is connected)
2. Moisture on the screen, under the screen, inside the case.
3. Looseness of the structure or cracks in the case with a violation of contacts between the "grounds" (buggy case syndrome) - HTC often has a loose back cover.
4. Touch glass cable.
I bq-7058g had the same problem with phantom touchscreen triggers. For a very long time I was tormented by what I just didn’t try. But it turned out to be a problem in the insufficiency of the gap between the screen and the touchscreen! I removed its tape and glue residue from the wheelbarrow and stuck a new double-sided tape on the screen, but did not tear off the film from it (so that it would not stick to the wheelbarrow) and probably the most important thing I left that place not glued where the wheelbarrow cable is located! It is necessary to glue on the metal rim of the screen! And one more thing is present, no need to tighten the screws. As soon as the head of the screw touches another half a turn and that's it! Then the back cover of the case itself will complete everything!
